Abstract
- The 'driving force' per unit area on the boundary of a spherical self-similarly expanding Eshelby inclusion with general eigenstrain $$\epsilon ^*_{ij}$$ is obtained. It is independent of r and t, and depends only on the wave speeds a and b, and the expansion velocity $$\upsilon $$ . It is, thus, the same at the initial time $$t =0$$ when the expansion starts from the zero dimension. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
