A MODIFIED PROJECTION ALGORITHM FOR VARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES IN BANACH SPACES.

In this paper, we modify the projection algorithm proposed by [Y. Liu: Weak convergence of a new projection algorithm for variational inequalities in Banach spaces, Nonlinear Funct. Anal. Appl., 21(2016), 121-129] for solving a variational inequality problem involving a monotone and Lipschitz continuous mapping in Banach spaces. The purpose of this modification is to change the implicit iterative method to an explicit iterative method. The latter is easier to compute. We obtain a weak convergence theorem.
