Allergic and irritant patch test reactions to plastic and glue allergens.

Plastics and glues are among the most common causes of occupational dermatoses. Most of the patients in Dermatology section of the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health, Helsinki, Finland are referred because of suspected occupational dermatoses and they are patch tested with a modified European standard series, and their own substances. Those with exposure to plastics and glues are usually patch tested with plastics and glues series. In this report, the patch test results with the 50 allergens in the plastics and glues series are analysed.
