Abstract

The article focuses on the increasing Zika Virus activity in Mozambique and threats posed by it. Topics discussed include past and recent outbreaks of dengue in the country and the abundance of mosquito Aedes, design of effective prevention strategies to eradicate Zika, and taking into consideration the specificities and difference of the ecology of Anopheles and Aedes mosquitoes.
