Genetic variation in the β-lactoglobulin of Chinese yak ( Bos grunniens).

The article presents study on genetic variation in the β-lactoglobulin of Chinese yak Bos grunniens. It mentions establishment of a phylogenetic relationship of yak β-LG with that of closely related species. It adds migration patterns presented in PCR-SSCP analysis of yak LGB gene exon II region and differences of nucleotide and corresponding amino acid in the genus Bos.
