Abstract
- The article examines the involvement of former Mississippi governor William Winter's involvement with the Mississippi Department of Archives and History as a member of its Board of Trustees from 1957 to 2008. Winter is reportedly passionate about historical preservation who headed the campaign to preserve the Old Capitol building in Jackson. Also discussed are his leadership in the 2 Mississippi Museums Project.
