Abstract: The article looks at a study which focuses on Deaf seniors' recent experiences with oppression and how they dealt with those experiences, and their perspectives toward their recent oppression. It mentions that Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), which protects deaf clients' rights and entitlement to be provided with effective communication. It also mentions that agencies receiving federal funds are obligated to provide interpreters for deaf patients.
