- The article explores "Winterreise" (Winter Journey), a song cycle for voice and piano published as Op. 89, by Austrian composer Franz Schubert and was authored by German lyric poet Johann Ludwig Wilhelm Müller. Topics discussed include final order of the song published by the poet in 1824, family background of Müller, and description of the poem's content.
