Abstract

With the rapid development of network and information technology, how to grasp the main influence factors and promote the healthy development of modern service industry? Based on the time series data from year 2000 to 2013, this paper analyzes the status quo of modern service industry in China and discusses its influence factors. This paper proposes the influence factor model of the development of modern service industry by grey relational analysis, and analyzes the influence factors and their contributions using weighted relational degree. The results indicate: (1) despite the fast development speed of modern service industry, its value-added proportion is relatively low; (2) the most critical factors affecting the development of modern service industry are informatization, marketization, urbanization and industrialization; education development and economic development have a little impact. In order to promote its development, this paper puts forward some rational suggestions in the aspects of strengthening information construction, deepening market reform, promoting industrial upgrading and optimizing internal structure, and providing sufficient material conditions and specialized personnel.
