- The article reports on Chinese state-owned enterprises (SOEs) that have set up overseas branches around the world. Topics discussed include information on the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-Century Maritime Silk Road (Belt and Road) initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013, number of SOEs that had set up overseas branches abroad, and remarks from Zou Weimin, president of MCC Overseas Ltd.
