Abstract

This paper is concerned with sampled-data control of switched linear systems with average dwell time switching under variable sampling. Since the subsystem switching could occur during the sampling intervals while the associated controller does not switch, the asynchronous switching phenomenon arises. A new class of functionals consisting of multiple Lyapunov functions and looped functionals is developed to present sufficient conditions on the exponential stabilization for such systems with sampled-data state feedback.
