Abstract: The article discusses the delayed onset of wet season in Nigeria in 2015. Topics discussed include the use of land and generation atmosphere climate models to determine the late onsets, the role of sea surface temperatures (SSTs) on the alteration of the 2015 late onset on rainy season, and the representation of intertropical discontinuity (ITD).
