Abstract

The article discusses the aggregate occurrences of extreme daily rainfall events in the U.S. in 2015. Among the rainfall events that were discussed include drought, rains, and flash floods in Texas which ends in May, near land-falling Hurricane Joaquin in early October along with the catastrophic flood in South Carolina, and unseasonable rains that inundated the Mississippi basin in December.
