Abstract

In order to satisfy the experimental teaching and the specialty of Energy and Environment System Engineering, this paper designed a set of integrated platform of photo-catalytic degradation system. This platform consists of the thermostatic bath,steam generator, light-reactor, control unit, detection system, etc., it can control light intensity, relative humidity, and other reaction conditions during reaction process to ensure a continuous and stable test environment for catalyst activity. The combination of the solar energy and the effective catalysts can degrade VOCs with high efficiency, and their degradation pathways can be analyzed. Integrated with online detection technologies, this system can evaluate the activity, lifetime and poisoning of catalysts, as well as the ultimate photo-degradation results for different catalysts under various conditions. In addition, this platform can conduct comprehensive experiments related to photocatalysis in order to meet the needs of research and teaching. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
