A new Modern Industrial Strategy.

The article reviews the British government's Green Paper, "Building our Industrial Strategy," which tackles issues relevant to technical education, skills and the work of the Department of Education. Proposals in the paper to address the challenges of providing technical skills to workers include creation of a new system of technical education and addressing the shortage of STEM skills. The consultation also left questions such as how to improve basic skills and one about apprenticeships.
