Abstract
- The article informs that Ultrawideband (UWB) communications systems provide many times the bandwidth needed for standard communications services and one of the main benefits of an UWB component is that a single component can be used in a system that provides multiple communications services. It is noted that UWB radio technology has attracted a great deal of attention ever since the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) allocated 7.5 GHz of bandwidth for unlicensed radio applications.
