Abstract

The article focuses on the competition among laundry detergent suppliers in the U.S. Topics discussed are challenges of the organization Procter & Gamble (P&G) due to higher price gap between its popular brands Tide and Gain and its rival brands, impact of competition from German company Henkel which marketed its Persil brand through super market Walmart on the Tide Ultra Stain Release brand of P&G, and chart on market share of detergent suppliers in the U.S.
