Abstract

Using theatrical techniques in language teaching is not new. Since the 1970s, research has shown that it develops motivation, cooperation, creativity, imagination and communication as well as self-confidence. This paper describes a 2nd year University oral French class using drama techniques. This article presents how the course is organized and evaluated.
