Abstract

Palladium ‐ induced selective B(4)−H activation is achieved by the reaction of o ‐ carboranylthioamide and [PdCl2(CH3CN)2]. A tetranuclear palladium complex is formed in high yield. Mononuclear and trinuclear palladium complexes are obtained directly from the reaction of tetranuclear palladium complex with small molecules, such as tert ‐ butyl isocyanide and CO.
