MECHANICS-BASED MATHEMATICAL STUDIES PROVING SPONTANEITY OF POST-IMPACT WTC TOWERS COLLAPSE.

The article focuses n the factors that caused the spontaneous collapse of the World Trade Center (WTC) in New York on September 11, 2001 and the inevitable result of the aircraft impact damage and subsequent fire. It provides overview of the mechanics-based analytical studies that determine the aggravating factors that contribute to the collapse of the building. It also indicates that the collapse was explained by the uncontrolled fires burning that led to progressive loss of columns.
