Abstract

This design uses the C/S architecture model, and combines with the Android, GPS, wireless communication, Baidu Map technology. Hardware parts adopt GPS module and SIM900A module, and software components use the Java programming language, MySQL database technology, and Tomcat lightweight servers apply as a Web server. Through the study of the secondary development of Baidu Map on Eclipse development tools, this paper designs and implements the vehicle monitoring system on Android smart phone. The system not only is able to visually and real time display on the map for the location and trajectory of the vehicle, but also achieves a query, manage and update important information on the real-time notification bar modules. This paper describes in detail the whole process of design and implementation of system function, gives the results of the operation diagram of the system functions. After vehicle’ s test debugging turns out that the system has stable operation, reliable function, and has reached the expected goal. The system makes vehicle’s managers and user can understand the vehicle’s running status anytime and anywhere. It provides the decision-making and support for vehicle’s management and scheduling work and has a certain practicability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
