Abstract

A new pyrazoline-based probe D was designed and synthesized, which can be used as a highly sensitive, selective and reversible recognizing fluorescent to detect Cu 2 + . The recognition properties of this compound was investigated by UV–vis absorption and fluorescence spectrophotometry. The results showed that the probe D forms a 1:1 complex with Cu 2 + and displayed a linear fluorescence response to Cu 2 + with a detection limit of 1.94 × 10 − 7 M. In addition, the probe have a good biocompatibility in living cells. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
