Instructions for many different topics, so called Tutorials, have experienced a boom for some time passed. More and more offers are posted online; consequently the demand for proper platforms and search engines increases in order pool the variety and make it more searchable. This paper will focus on the less considered phenomena of a "Tutorial" and the search for this special medium. Different terms of the word "Tutorial" as well as social drivers that influence the increasing trend to produce and receive Tutorials are focused in this paper. Currently existing special search engines as one approach to search for Tutorials will be collected and accessed by their strengths and weaknesses in a market observation. The outcome of this survey will define requirements for optimized search engines for this application purpose and its exemplary implementation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
