Abstract

The article reports that the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) is hosting seven different open-source projects as part of a wider roster of initiatives that aim to facilitate cloud native applications. Topics covered include the OpenTracking project joining the CNCF in October 2016 to provide a cloud native approach to application tracing that can help improve performance and availability and the Linkerd service mesh project being added in January 2017.
