Abstract
- The article discusses how non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are responsible for several deaths and how low-and middle-income countries are disproportionately affected by these deaths. Topics discussed include how type 2 diabetes increases the risk of incident tuberculosis (TB), five-step approach published by Capacity Research Unit (CRU) at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine to understand diseases and how laboratories have international accreditation.
