Abstract
- The article reports on plans of chemical company Bio-on for construction of a plant in Castel San Pietro Terme, Italy that can make polyhydroxyalkanoates from nonfood agricultural sources and mentions its partnership with sugar maker Sadam for development of biobased levulinic acid.
