El liderazgo Wayuu y su inserción en el modelo de partidos políticos en Venezuela.

This work aims to analyze how the Wayuu leaders are inserted into the dominant model of political parties in Venezuela. Ethnography is used to access the social dynamics that establish the Wayuu with the surrounding society. From the Political Anthropology, we interpret the different interactions that the Wayuu people made to participate politically. Political parties have become organs used mainly in their struggles for claims. We conclude that the indigenous leadership must overcome the vision of traditional political parties and create political structures to ensure the possibility of moving one intercultural aspect from their cultural postulates.
