Abstract
- The article reports on the effects of terpinyl acetate on the percutaneous absorption of caffeine in rats. Topics discussed include absolute percutaneous bioavailability in rats; primary metabolites in caffeine; and the effect of terpinyl acetate on pharmacokinetics in rats. Also mentioned is the role of ethanol in structural modifications of stratum corneum.
