Shining a Light on Leadership.

The article discusses educational leadership in relation to the author's claim that transformative teachers and school principals share the attributes of being vision-driven, process-oriented, and dedicated to serving the students and educators that they lead. Servant leadership is examined, along with the technical, bureaucratic, and moral authority of leaders. Investments in the professional development and mentoring of teachers and school principals are assessed.
