- The article discusses the highlights of the OpenStack Summit, a conference for information technology (IT) business leaders, cloud operators and developers held in 2017. Topics covered include the increase in the volume of OpenStack deployments according to Jonathan Bryce, executive director of the OpenStack Foundation, during his keynote speech, a description of the first generation of private cloud by Bryce and the issues surrounding the first generation of private cloud.
