An Electronic Load to Verify Harmonic Emission Compliance.

The IEC technical report 61000-4-37 describes methods to verify that compliance systems to measure IEC 61000-3-2 and work within their specified tolerances. The waveforms required for these tests have a rich harmonic content. This paper describes a technique to produce these harmonics using a programmable microcontroller controlling an insulatedgate bipolar transistor.
