- The article focuses on the development and trends of the solutions to desertification worldwide. It mentions the several factors in establishing evidence-based solutions and perceptions such as science, people, and women in the land management and business operations. Also cited several practices related to desertification management such as the kitchen garden initiative and the practice of cooking with less firewood, and soil stabilisation.
