Abstract

The article presents a poetry criticism for the prose poem "Mystique" by Arthur Rimbaud. Topics that are discussed include the interpretation of the poem by Romanist scholar Johannes B. Tielrooy, the depiction of ekphrasis in the poem, and the painting "Adoration of the Mystic Lamb" by Hubert van Eyck and Jan van Eyck, which used as a reference for the reading of the poem.
