This methodological guide intends to review situations that arise and can be problematic in software development processes through technical problem trees. When applied to the company Nokia Solutions and Networks Colombia Ltda., such situations are evident, suggesting identified through experts the central problem, its causes, effects and determined through voting, what they are major; therefore, it serves as a basis for proposing solutions to the causes and effects selected, by creating strategies that include actions towards improving the software development process, thus solving the central problem.
