The aim of this paper is to confirm Sakari's hypothesis on the controversial verse number eight in Azalais de Porcairagues's unique canso. This verse might contain the expression l'am having the sense of 'emotions' or 'feelings'. Some Psalms, the Song of Songs and Arnaut Daniel's sestina could have been a source of inspiration for Azalais, as they all have occurrences of derivatives from Latin ANIMA with (almost) the same sense.
