Abstract

The article presents a case study of 7‑year‑old boy with Japanese B encephalitis. Topics discussed include production of anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) rector that leads to proliferation of encephalitis conditions in the patient; analysis of Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) for herpes simplex virus presence through magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); and consideration of the disease as parainfectious autoimmune processes.
