- The article reports that Elon Musk’s space team at SpaceX aims to surpass its annual flight record before the second half of 2017. SpaceX aims to send a flock of 10 Iridium birds into polar orbit from California’s Vandenberg AFB and launch the BulgariaSat1 communications satellite. Hans Koenigsmann, SpaceX vice president of build and flight reliability, says that they have picked up the rate significantly.
