Abstract
- The article reports on the former involvement of developer Aras Agalarov of Crocus Group on a project with then businessman Donald J. Trump before having more prominent projects in Moscow. It notes that Agalarov and his son were thrust into a speculation about whether the Trump campaign colluded with the Kremlin to influence the presidential election in 2016. Some analysts also find it plausible that the Kremlin would tap Agalarov as a way to pass information to the Trump campaign.
