Swiss Direct Democracy + Singapore's Smart Rulers = Direct Technocracy.

The article presents questions and answers session with Parag Khanna, senior research fellow at the Centre on Asia and Globalisation at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy in Singapore, on Direct Technocracy that combines the virtues of Swiss style direct democracy with the strength of Singapore's technocratic system. The session also takes into account the feasibility and challenges in implementing Direct Technocracy in other countries specifically United States and Europe.
