Abstract
- In this paper, we have discussed the reformation and practice of exploratory instrumental analysis experimental teaching for innovation class with major in chemistry, based on the training mode of innovative class and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of 4-amino azobenzene by gas chromatography-mass spectrometer (GC-MS). This paper has introduced the characteristics of the innovation class of chemistry in South China University of Technology, the experimental teaching of GC-MS, the experimental requirements and arrangement, the experimental steps and results. Through four aspects of the experimental teaching, the students could have a strong rational and perceptual knowledge for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of GC-MS. Finally, we have summarized the acquirements and feelings of exploratory experiments in the innovation class. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
