Abstract

The article reports the results of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) or in vitro fertilisation (IVF), and the risk they could cause to the temperament of the child as well as the anxiety the mothers feel about the same. Particular focus is given to the multidimensional anxiety that the mother of the child goes through during the ICSI or IVF, the anxiety levels of the mother before the transvaginal oocyte retrieval (TVOR), and the maternal anxiety during gestation.
