Abstract

The article discusses a study about the effectiveness of ear tag containing Diazinon insecticide in reducing the number of flies in the face among the pairs of cows and calves in the U.S. Topics mentioned include the risk of Moraxella bovis pathogen during the face fly feeding activity, the negative effect of fly biting on the performance of cow-calf pairs, and the economic impact of the occurrence of infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis on the cattle industry.
