Abstract

Producing and marketing docking platform of agriculture products is a rising business model characterized by two-sided markets. Under intense market competition, the challenging problem faced by each docking platform is how to develop competition strategies to attract more platform users. In this paper, based on two-sided market theory, we describes the characteristics of the multi-platform access behavior of the bilateral clients, and further to analyze the platform's competition strategies from the view of interconnection or not. The effect of platform's interconnection on the profit obtained by platform is also be analyzed in detail. The conclusion of this paper can provide a theoretical support to develop reasonable policies for platform enterprises and government. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
