Abstract

This paper discusses the research in education. It aims to show Ethnomethodology and critical Etnopesquisa as research possibilities of phenomenological inspiration for research in education. It is a literature research. It presents ethnomethodology as criticism of Comtean, Durkheim and Weber positivism showing that the etnomethods are activities and possibilities of individuals in society to make sense of their world. The etnopesquisa criticism follows the same path and says that the practice of making / building knowledge and learning is not separate from its expression of context.
