Abstract

The article discusses the copy-specific features of French printer Philippe Pigouchet's 18th century book of hours, owned by monk and book collector Joannes Petrus Reyns. Topics discussed include Pigouchet's printing of the book on vellum on August 8, 1947, inscription in the manuscript which offered evidence for Reyns' ownership, and the characteristics of the book's binding.
