Abstract: Computer entrepreneur A. Nathaniel Goldhaber has been named president and chief executive of Kaleida, the Apple/IBM joint venture. Goldhaber, 44, recently served as president of a venture capital firm specializing in high technology. He was also the founder of the computer networking firm Tops, which was acquired by Sun Microsystems five years ago. Kaleida will develop multimedia systems combining data, audio and video. Offices are temporarily set up in Apple's Cupertino HQ until a San Francisco base can be established.
