Abstract: The article discusses the initiatives taken by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump in the fundamental repurposing of the federal bureaucracy to promote conservative social priorities. These include policy changes related to gun ownership which allowed more firearms on federal lands, the elimination of funding to international groups that provide abortion, and the ban on transgender people in the military.
