Abstract

The article highlights the career of British officer Leo Steveni during the Russian Revolution, who was decorated by George V in July 1920 with the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) and Military Cross. Topics discussed include his work as a member of the British Military Mission following the outbreak of the war in August 1914 and reporting to the Czecho Slovak Corps headquarters (HQ) as liaison officer to General Mikhail Dieterichs.
