Thomas To Hold Markup On Revised FSC/ETI Bill.

House Ways and Means Chairman Thomas last week proposed pairing the corporate tax bill that repeals the foreign sales corporation/extra-territorial income exclusion with highway trust fund provisions that would bring the bill's cost under $4 billion. Thomas said that he will hold a full committee markup next week to consider new additions. The committee may also mark up a proposal that would cut off leasing transactions under which corporations may buy tax benefits from tax-exempt entities, but Thomas said it has not yet been decided whether that provision would be a part of the markup.
