Abstract

The article discusses a study focusing on the assessment of fruit fly infestation levels on citrus in Abura Asebu Kwamankese district of Ghana. Topics discussed include the crop losses in Africa due to Bactrocera dorsalis, the infestation of orange fruits with fruit fly larvae in the study, and the fruit fly species that were found infesting including Bactrocera dorsalis and Ceratitis ditissima. Also mentioned is the role of poor pest control by farmers in high infestation.
